We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in a similar position with a strong track record of achieving measurable results;
• Has in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trends;
• Is proficient in SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, AWRCloud etc.;
• Understands of SinglePageApplications and overall Google's relationship with Javascript websites as well as pre-rendering mechanisms is a plus;
• Has previous experience in managing teams;
• Has a proactive and forward-thinking approach;
• Proves problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making;
• Has great communication and interpersonal skills; 
• Has excellent English skills;

Bonus points if you have:

• Previous experience working in a sports betting & gambling industry; 

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies in line with business objectives;
• Identify and prioritise keywords and content opportunities to enhance organic search visibility;
• Oversee on-page SEO optimisation, including meta tags, content optimisation, and site architecture improvements;
• Align all SEO efforts with search engine best practices including but not limited to: algorithm updates, Google Search Essentials, Google Webmaster Guidelines, EEAT etc.;
• Lead the creation of a robust content strategy that aligns with SEO objectives;
• Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content;
• Ensure content is aligned with target audience needs and industry trends;
• Perform technical SEO audits to identify and rectify website issues affecting search engine rankings;
• Monitor website performance, page speed, and mobile-friendliness, implementing necessary improvements;
• Collaborate with the development team to address technical SEO requirements;
• Develop and implement a link-building strategy to increase the website's authority;
• Identify link-building opportunities and manage outreach campaigns;
• Lead and mentor a team of SEO professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and designers;
• Utilize SEO analytics tools to track and report on key performance metrics;
• Connect SEO specific KPIs with business commercial metrics;
• Monitor industry trends and algorithm updates to adapt strategies accordingly;
