As the Senior Talent Management Specialist, you will be someone who:

 

  • Is a strategic thinker, with deep expertise in designing and delivering talent management processes at scale (goal setting, performance management, talent mapping and succession planning, onboarding, etc.) 
  • Has a strong analytics mindset, the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and can communicate them effectively
  • Is passionate about connecting talent management with talent attraction, development, retention and DE&I plans 
  • Has the ability to inspire, influence and educate others on talent management best practices 
  • Can demonstrate project and change management experience  
  • Can hit the ground running and build things from the ground up 

 

What you'll be doing? 

 

Strategy & Planning -   

  • Executing against the talent management strategy and driving strategic talent management projects through to completion
  • Managing projects to align and enhance the employee experience
  • Owning the design and ongoing delivery of a newly created employee induction covering culture, people, product and tech updates  
  • Owning the design and management of the talent management and development elements of a newly formed Graduate Program in partnership with Talent Acquisition 

 

Execution & Education -  

  • Designing and running end-of-year and mid-year performance management processes, ensuring line managers are engaged and educated on their role
  • Embedding the practice of OKR / goal setting and regular feedback across the company 
  • Planning and executing talent mapping and succession planning processes, including partnering with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and People Development Teams to activate talent attraction, retention and development actions as needed 
  • Preparing training and communication plans for the execution of talent processes in partnership with the People Development and Communications teams
  • Ensuring talent management processes are debiased and have built-in inclusion nudges
  • In partnership with the People Systems team, managing the suite of talent management systems, tools and associated budgets
  • Liaising with the People Systems team to make strategic talent system decisions, supporting talent system RFPs and decision alignment across key stakeholder 

 

 Measuring & Influencing – 

  • Measuring and reporting on key talent management trends, metrics and areas for improvement
  • Generate data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive impact  
  • Creating leadership presentations to share talent management updates, and facilitating discussions on talent management outcomes and actions  
  • Building relationships and partnering effectively with HR Business Partners, HR Ops, People Systems & Analytics, Culture & Engagement, Internal Communications, Talent Acquisition and People Development teams
