As a Senior Motion Designer at Superbet, you'll play a key role in turning our multi-brand identity into impactful moving experiences for our clients, from 2D motion graphics to 3D animation and short video form video editing – you thrive from creating static into motion. We at Superbet appreciate proactivity and collaboration so you should be willing to contribute with ideas in various phases of the creative process, types of formats, or media, keeping our customers in focus and exciting them with every move. And doing so in close collaboration with multiple teams and departments you will have direct contact with. You will also be a motion leader in the team, mentoring junior and Middleweight motion designers, serving as an inspirational design figure and a person to lead and guide the visual output.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in a senior motion design role with agency experience as an advantage;
- Has a strong understanding of motion design principles and trends;
- Is proficient in industry standard motion programs (After Effects, Premiere) with confident editing skills;
- Proves a keen interest in new motion technologies;
- Is comfortable working in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator;
- Has a strong understanding of the importance of brand systems, tone of voice, and guidelines;
- Provide a portfolio with an outstanding range of work, all with rationale and evidence of the process behind your ideas;
- Is detail-obsessed with a strong design background and awareness of current trends in both motion and design;
- Is knowledgeable on the fundamentals of great story-telling and how to apply them to both film and motion briefs, and be comfortable expressing your ideas through storyboards and/or treatments;
- Is a team player who can flex and adapt their creative approach depending on the project scale and requirements;
- Proves excellent communication skills/ability to translate and communicate the ideas in English (written and spoken);
- Is confident to interact and collaborating with other colleagues and departments and taking creative direction;
- Has the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
What you'll be doing:
- Concept Development: Collaborating with internal clients, art directors, or other team members to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts for motion graphics;
- Storyboarding: Creating storyboards or visual outlines to plan the sequence of events and transitions in animations;
- Animation: Using animation software (such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Blender) to bring static graphics or illustrations to life through movement, timing, and visual effects;
- Graphic Design: Designing visual elements such as typography, icons, illustrations, and logos that will be incorporated into motion graphics projects;
- Editing: Editing video footage or combining various visual elements (such as text, graphics, and animations) to create cohesive and compelling motion graphics sequences;
- Motion Tracking: Integrating graphics or animations seamlessly into live-action footage by tracking the movement of objects or camera shots;
- Visual Effects: Adding special effects, particle simulations, or other visual enhancements to enhance the overall impact of motion graphics projects;
- Color Correction and Grading: Adjusting the color balance, saturation, and contrast of visuals to ensure consistency and enhance the mood or tone of the project;
- Audio Integration: Syncing motion graphics with audio elements such as music, sound effects, or voiceovers to create a cohesive and immersive experience;
- Quality Control: Reviewing animations and graphics to ensure they meet project requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications;
- Collaboration: Working closely with other members of the creative team, including designers, animators, video editors, and producers, to ensure a cohesive vision and seamless integration of motion graphics into larger multimedia projects;
- Client Communication: Presenting concepts, progress updates, and final deliverables to clients or stakeholders, and incorporating feedback to refine and improve the work;
Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new techniques in motion design to continuously improve skills and stay competitive in the field;
